Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
QuizFlow is an online tool that lets teachers create quizzes and exams, share them by link, and view results. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email and name.
Preferences: your chosen language and time zone.
Content you create: the quizzes, questions, answers, and settings you build.
Student responses: when someone takes a quiz you shared, we store the name they enter, their answers, scores, and timing. You decide what to ask students and are responsible for that content.
Usage and technical data: your plan, publish counts, and basic server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use your information
To provide the service — build and run quizzes, grade answers, and show results.
To send account emails such as email verification and password resets.
To enforce plan limits and to keep the service reliable and secure.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run QuizFlow: an email delivery service for transactional emails, Google for optional sign-in, and cloud hosting and file storage. These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. Deletion is permanent and removes your account together with the quizzes, questions, and responses you own.
7. Children and students
QuizFlow is intended for teachers and educators, not for direct sign-up by children. Students who take a quiz may be minors. As the teacher, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required under applicable law before collecting student responses.
8. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, and access to your account requires authentication. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
9. Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your information. You can update your details in the app and delete your account from Settings. For other requests, reach us through the contact link in the site footer.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
